BY CAR
Private cars do not have access to the Alhambra from the city center. You can only access the monument from the Granada ring road through the city’s Ronda Sur.
- To do this, go to the Granada ring road (N-323, A44), heading South (Motril). And follow the signs towards Alhambra (Ronda Sur).
- Go through the Serrallo tunnel. At the roundabout turn left and go up Avda. de Santa María de la Alhambra. Then continue along the Camino Viejo del Cementerio to the monument’s parking lot.
- Walk down to our meeting point: the Gate Puerta de la Justicia, located at 15 minutes on foot from the parking.

BY MINIBUS
Line C30 and C32: Alhambra – Plaza Isabel La Católica (Alhambra Bus red minibuses). Departure from the back street of La Statue located in Plaza Isabel la Católica.

ON FOOT
From Plaza Nueva walk up Cuesta de Gomérez, located in front of the square. At the end of Cuesta Gomérez there is a large entrance arch called Puerta de las Granadas, from the 16th century.
Crossing this door you arrive at the forests of the Alhambra, where there are three paths. Go up the path to the left, which skirts the walls of the Alhambra. Continue straight until the fountains and the steps. Once upstairs you will find Puerta de la Justicia gate on your left.
